I have having problems with dealing with two rest days in a row. It seems that it would be more beneficial to split these two days up by moving Saturday to Wednesday. So for now on my schedule will be noted with Wednesday and Sunday being the two days during the week that are marked as non lifting days.
I am making these changes because it seems that after two days of rest I see my blood sugar rise and also my body weight. Although I know that I am putting on muscle I am still discouraged to see my body weight back up at 190 lbs. It is time to reduce the carbs and increase fat intake. I think that my protein intake is pretty spot on so unless I find reason to increase or decrease it I will just keep it where it’s at.
While I want to keep increasing muscle growth by staying in a state of “Beast Mode”, but I also have the need to reduce body fat. By simply staying on my current workout path and reducing carbohydrates while increasing fats I should be able to start burning fat while keeping hunger in check.

Blood Sugar- 131, Body Weight- 190.0
Creatine Maintenance Day 17 of 49
Bowflex- CHEST
Bench Press- 175/175- 18, 13, 9
Incline Press- 150/150- 10, 13, 14
Decline Press- 170/170- 16, 18, 16
Fly’s- 95/95- 16, 16, 15
Sounds like a sensible plan, much easier to fully embrace the rest time if only a day at a time. More than a day and I’m tempted to hit the bike, thus losing the benefits of resting!
