Diabesity Challenge Day #24 – Stupid Allergies

16x9_allergy_season_041912_173259Even with the Allegra I am taking for these allergies I still woke up this morning feeling like total crap. I will get through this workout this morning but I got to tell ya, I don’t feel like doing it. I have to wait two weeks before I can get in to see my doctor and I have to say that I am a little frustrated. By the time I make it in allergy season may be over. I will just have to suck it up and do the best I can.

My diet pretty much sucked again yesterday and the problem is that I am seeking out comfort foods. This weekend I will find some local honey at the Saturday Morning Farmers Market and start taking a teaspoon a day. It’s amazing how nature can break you down to a point where your body actually feels sick.

I am starting to like the idea of strength training every other day rather than every day. I feel a lot stronger than I did if I had hammered out some weight yesterday. Just that one day of muscle rest I believe will make a huge difference.

  2. Stupid allergies here too. Exercise is hard when insulin dependent but I am definitely winning the battle with weight and blood sugar. Gotta figure the exercise thing out at some point. Simple living. I have to follow your blog even more closely than I already do because we need to figure that out a little better too. Really like your blog a lot. I like the organization. Topics. All of it. I do a modified (not much modified) Paleo but would have to add significant carbs to exercise much beyond walking. Will be reading your blog daily. Great work!
