  1. these kinds of formulas don’t work, because they don’t take into account all the water you get from eating fruits and vegetables. also, drinking too much during exercise is dangerous, it can lead to water sickness (hypnoatremia) which occasionally is fatal. it’s amazing how many people want to be in the business of advising people on how much water to drink, when you’re body’s already got it all figured out: drink when you’re thirsty

    Well dang!! I always thought I drank plenty but I was wrong! I get 20-40 oz of plain water a day but then I calculate more through coffee, tea etc. I need to drink at least 40 more oz according to this article, based on my weight I need 5 16oz glasses a day. Drink up buttercup! Lol

    Wow, that seems a bit high…I have read that you can count at least some of your tea and coffee you consume…I need to drink more water myself…and lay off the iced coffee….I try to drink a glass of luke warm water every morning with fresh lemon….good toxin cleanser…..thanks for the info…kat
