Jose illegal also works in construction has no Social Security number and makes $15.00 per hour cash, under the table.

Ready?… now pay attention….

Joe legal: $25.00 per hour × 40 hours = $1,000.00 per week or $52,000.00 per year. Now, take 31% away for State and Federal taxes. Joe legal now has $31,231.00.

Jose illegal: $15.00 an hour × 40 hours = $600.00 per week or $31,200.00 per year. Jose illegal pays no taxes. Jose illegal now has $31,200.00.

Joe legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe legal now has $24,031.00.

Jose illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the State and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe legal spends $500.00 per month for food or $6,000.00 per year. Joe legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe legal pays rent of 1,200.00 per month or $14,400.00 per year. Joe legal now has $9,631.00.

Jose illegal receives $500.00 per month Federal rent subsidy. Jose illegal pays out that $500.00 per month or $6,000.00 per year. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe legal pays $200.00 per month or $2,400.00 per year for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Joe legal now has $7,231.00.

Jose illegal says, “We don’t need no stinkin’ insurance.”… and still has $31,000.00.

Joe legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline.. etc.

Jose illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline and what he sends out of the country every month….

Joe legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe legal’s and Jose illegal’s children both attend the same elementary school.

Joe legal pays for his children’s lunches while…

Jose illegal’s children get a government-sponsored lunch.

Jose illegal’s children have an after school ESL program.

Joe legal’s children go home.

Now, when they reach college age…

Joe legal’s kids may not get into a State school and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State schools through his taxes, while…

Jose illegal’s kids go to the, ‘head of the class’ because they are a minority.

Joe legal and Jose illegal both benefit from the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not.

Houston, we have a problem.
I found this posted on Facebook this morning. It is definitely election season. I don’t know if all of these facts are true, but I do remember a time in America when many took pride in becoming an America Citizen.

  1. sounds racist to me (e.g. statements like since the children are minority they go to the head of the class..). what is the definition of illegal? illegal immigrants? how come an illegal person gets government support, food stamps, free healthcare etc., then? I am not sure how many of these are facts and how many are told for election purposes (e.g. to manipulate people’s feelings towards a candidate). my two cents and peace

    • I tend to agree with you. Like I said I don’t know if any of this is true the same way I don’t believe any of the candidates who run for office. We always see the worst in people come out during election season.

    • I ditto on that. An illegal person is ineligible for any kind of government support, food stamps, free medical etc. They are ineligible for a rental subsidy either. I know this for a fact as I used to live in a subsidized apartment. I HAD TO provide my Social Number and the source of income.

Interesting analysis if true. Do you have a link to the source? I would be interested.

  3. ProsperityAndCalamities says:

Those income taxes… without that, can you imagine how much extra money people would have?

  4. Mr TGTBT says:

I have to say I agree with lifeasiinterpret. The pretext of the post comes across as racist. I imagine that Johnny Redneck never had a job and spends his welfare on booze and cannabis might be more of a burden on the economy. As would Jenny Crackwhore five kids all in care. Or is their burden reduced because they are US citizens? Undoubtedly all developed economies have their problems, immigration and the black economy are probably far from the biggest.

  5. I agree the system is broken. I have heard the conspiracy theory crowd say many times: the illegals are let in to mess up the economy for everyone, so it falls giving the elite complete control or something similar. Piff! What I do know is that in my new state that it’s almost impossible to get care unless you are on the state medical. If you are a few $$ above that nothing. Those that are on medicare or hard workers that are buying a policy are screwed. Will not be able to stay here under these conditions. Just one example. The story above may be fiction, but the problems of the broken system are all too real and devastating for those of us who were born here and worked here.

    • PS I think Obamacare has made the system far more broken.

      • Absolutely, but he had to return the favor for all the campaign money he received from Big Pharma. Whether you watch CNN and are Liberal, or you watch Fox News and are Conservative the game remains the same. There is only one way to stop this madness and that is by creating a zero tolerance for spending a dime on running for public office. Money should be allocated through public radio and public TV to run an election where all candidates are given the same amount of time to try to persuade the publics vote. No one would be allowed to speak about another, only the issues themselves.

    • I believe that the real problem started when our young people decided that they were to special to work labor jobs. These jobs needed to be filled, but instead the only thing that filled was our prisons. It was business that pushed for illegal immigration as there was work that needed to be done.

  6. It is amazing how much the immigrant card gets played when it’s election time….

  7. New Journey says:

I remember in my younger years that when I was single, raising 2 kids, I was always on the back of the line…I was always told that due to the fact I was not a minority I didn’t take priority….nice..I have nothing against anyone, but I paid my taxed, never behind in any of bills…just needed some help….well I didn’t get any from our government….I left feeling like the minority….nice!!! some of what I read I believe is true and some not….I am for one who can say its not a fair system that’s for sure !!! Been there and seen it up close and personal….years ago…but its still going on!!! I was also turned down for jobs due the fact they had enough white Americans on the payroll…they actually told me that….LOL crazy world we live in…. thanks Billy for the eye opening post…kat

  8. These facts are NOT true; they are man made. Most of the FB postings are no more than speculation with no facts to support. There is NO WAY that an unskilled laborer is paid $15/hr under the table. More likely half of that amount. I was paid $10/hr when I still worked, and I was certified in my field.

One without Social Security number and/or a reported source of income is INELIGIBLE for Medicaid or any other form of ‘free medical’, food stamps, housing subsidy/vouchers etc. This is a hatred post, full of speculation, stereotyping and total lack of knowledge.

OTOH, Joe Legal has unrealistic expectations. Having made $50K a year, he thinks this makes him eligible for Food Stamps, free lunches, subsidized housing etc. Btw this places him in the 25% tax bracket as of 2016. The fact that he owns a car, places him in the position of having to make payments plus carrying auto policy while Uninsured Motorist coverage is optional (I opted out of it). Likely he owns a Lexus I bet. And lives in an upscale neighborhood. Considering the fact that he makes good money, why doesn’t he own a house & pays less of the mortgage than he does in rental? Speaking of priorities. I wonder why doesn’t he have a health coverage at work?

I bet Joe Legal has bills over his head, some folks owe more than they make, and then proceed on blaming someone else. In this case scenario, Jose Illegal is an easy target.

If Jose Illegal doesn’t own a car, what in the world would he need an auto policy for? Is the FB OP saying that only Undocumented Illegals are using public transportation? Hmmm. I bet I can take a few pics and prove to the opposite.

Like I said, this post is man-made and has nothing to do with reality. Full of stereotyping. Why doesn’t the FB OP lump ALL the minorities together, and not only Mexicans? Aha, that would get him / her in trouble. Chances are, OP might get kicked out of FB for doing so. Imagine that.

Furthermore, I doubt authenticity of FB image. I bet it was fabricated on the Photoshop.

This has been going around by emails, with variations, for the longest time. Apparently, there are some folks that take it for granted, without a slightest grain of salt.

I blogged about this last month https://websaladbar.wordpress.com/2016/02/28/my-humble-opinion-about-the-cheap-tomatoes-email/

    • I believe that there are many who do take advantage of the system but most of the Mexican American’s I know are angry that their families had to wait to come to America and struggle through the immigration process. There are good and bad in all cultures and this article without doubt highlights the bad. It’s too bad that they didn’t point out all of the wonderful Mexican people who are contributing and making America a great place to live. And you are so right, this is just another article that was written to stir our emotions and sway our vote.
