Oh That Wonderful Feeling of a Morning Workout

morning-workoutIt is truly a Wordless Wednesday for me this morning as I am having difficulties find the right thoughts and words to even write the simplest of posts. I could opt to post a positive quote like I do sometimes, but I am not even feeling that inspiration.

So what are you doing this morning Bill? I have to admit that my primary focus is centered around my workout this morning and I am finding it hard to move my thoughts away from it. I was more than excited to get on the treadmill and knock out that 1 mile walk. I found it so much easier than the last one and I already feel that I am ready to start taking it to the next level.

I am working my arms today and waking up muscle tissue that hasn’t been challenged in over 3 months. I am experiencing an overwhelming feeling of calm and peace and everything that exists in my world is perfect. Everyone in the fitness industry puts so much emphasis on the body, but it is really the mind that prospers from these kinds of workouts.

I know many folks who like to hit the gym after a long frustrating day at work, but I say why not hit the gym before the day starts. I know that going into my day with this relaxed and calm feeling attributes greatly to how I address stressful situations during the day. Either way we all have to deal with situations and either way we find a way to get through them. But why not simply get through them with a peaceful mind and good attitude.

Well, I suppose that I had something to write about after all. I hope your day is filled with the same amount of joy that exists in your heart.

    Okay, okay. Putting my sneakers on and walking. Thanks for the kick in the butt! Motivation is a good thing.

  2. Early morning is the best time to workout. I used that time to both exercise and sightseeing.

    Yes it is a beautiful day today despite being a chilly one, the rain yesterday washed the air and all is bright and lovely here in Ft Worth this morning. While I didn’t exercise yet, I WAS up early to take the pups to the groomers and experienced the beauty of the morning. Today is my husband’s birthday, what a great day for it! You have a fabulous day! šŸ™‚
