I am working in total “Beast Mode” this morning on my arm strengthening routine. I am lifting heavy and taking everything to the very last rep and then going beyond. I feel as though my muscles are trying to push beyond the limits of the skin around them. I feel like an animal out of control each time I return to the machine after a short rest. I anticipate the challenge ahead and take it on like I was dangling from a rope on a cliff and my life depended on it. The Beast is back and taking front stage in taking these workouts to the highest level they can reach.
While in the midst of these exercises I feel like the machine and I have melded into one. I am the machine and the target is the bicep or tricep we are working. This is exactly the fashion that I will be working each routine until May of 2016. Taking each exercise to it’s very limit and go beyond. I am totally unearthing the Beast that lives within me to allow my body to become the very best it can be.
As my blood sugar numbers are staying balanced and starting to decrease slightly I know that by challenging my body to reach it’s limits is forcing my cells to accept the sugar that it needs to be stored inside them. Protein will follow each routine each day to ensure that muscle tissue is properly repaired in a timely fashion and will be ready to take on the next big workout. Yes, if you let the Beast come out to play you have to feed him.

You go Ree! Healthy is the new sexy.
Hulk lift!
Sounds like you are killing it. Is this your own plan or is it the one by beachbody?
It is my own. The complete routine is performed on a bowflex machine. Each exercise is performed slow and concentrated.
holy moses! that sounds pretty radical. have you cleared with your doc?
Absolutely. I live with her.

I kicked my own ass and oh am I paying for it this morning. Thank god it is a day of rest.
Well done beast! And I agree…healthy IS the new sexy. It’s a shame that no one really considers their health a priority until it’s gone. Kudos to you sir! 🙂
Thanks Mike.
