Thank You to my Readers

Image1I am coming close to 1700 followers on this blog of mine and sometimes it makes me wonder just what people see in my writing. I can be such a mixed bag of topics from fighting Type II Diabetes, Dept Reduction, Minimalism, Gardening and just life in general. I am not a writer and have never had any formal education it writing. Maybe deep down we are all writers… It is the posts from others who are just folks like myself that I enjoy reading so much and not so much the professionals.

I sit down each morning with coffee in hand and start writing without having a clue as to what I will write today. It seems that it just flows from my brain to my fingers and is usually based on my most recent thoughts. I post everyday as I am dedicated to using my blog as a way to track my progress with concerns to Type II Diabetes, but as other thoughts arise I end up writing. Many people have set days where they post and much work is put into those postings. I suppose that I must have much to say even though many times the things I post aren’t that interesting.

Anyway, I want take the time to say thank you to all of my followers and know that there are way too many times where I cannot find the time to personally thank each one. Many of you have become a very important part of my life as I enjoy sharing comments the same way I would with a loved one. But I do appreciate you and do find great joy in reading your posts as well. Billy

  3. Onward Billy. Onward.

  4. We love your writing, Keep it up!

I do love you blog and find it very interesting in the topics you mentioned. Specially I find it very inspiring the way you are so disciplined and focused on your goals πŸ™‚

  6. we have thoroughly enjoyed your posts. Look forward to more of the story to come. We are also interested in possibly doing an interview with you for YouTube, if that is a medium that you would be willing to share a little bit more of your story on.

Shoot us an email if that is something you’d be willing to check out.

Hi Billy! I love the diversity of your posts and that you post every day. What inspires me most about your blog is that you are actually DOING SOMETHING about your diabetes situation. I know way too many people who handled theirs carelessly as if it was going to fix itself (and hurt others by not taking care of themselves). But you are not like that so I hope you’re super proud of yourself because you should be πŸ™‚

I’d also like to thank you because you don’t read other blogs just to get more “likes” for yours. You are truly authentic in what you read and like. Thanks for keeping it real. I’m so psyched our paths crossed and we are getting to know each other.

    Cheers! Maryanne πŸ™‚

  8. I love your blog. I identify with just sitting down, putting your hands on the keypad, and it just all starts pouring out. Those are the best posts! I spend a lot of time researching in order to compose my static pages, those pages on my website that stay constant, but the blog section is the part I love the most because I can just say what’s on my mind. I wish I had time for daily, or even weekly posting. I thoroughly enjoy reading your daily thoughts. Thank you!

  9. I enjoy your blog because its different from what I’m used to reading. It’s actually good your topics are a mixed bag and you do not know what you will write for the day because your articles tend to become more personal that way. It isn’t generic and boring but actually has some thought into every post.. Keep it up!
