Another week a another weeks work of data to review. This week and for now on I am including my diet and little notes for each day. I walked 10.85 miles this week and watched my blood sugar and weight go up and down. My diet stayed pretty steady other that a few mistakes which I certainly are learning to correct. I have been able to get back to pushing and pulling heavy weight on the bowflex as certain joints have pretty much healed up.
The biggest problem I had this week was with Oregon Craft beer. It is delicious and I should not be drinking it with type II diabetes. And certainly should not be drinking it in excess like I did a few times this week.
I finished Jason Seib’s – Paleo Coach on my Iphone and started Bulletproof Diet by Dave Asprey. I am learning a lot and taking notes and actually applying many proven techniques to my mission to see if they work out for me.
Overall I am pleased with my efforts this week and will build on what I learned from my mistakes to make next week a better one.

Weight is up, Blood Sugar is up. It just takes but one mistake to through everything out of whack. It is time to get back to business.

My diet went off tilt today twice. A Christmas Party at work today yielded a spread of Chinese food. I only ate the meat selections although they were covered with breading and sweet sauces. And dinner I had a small portion of pasta with sausage. This is not they way to eat folks when you have type II diabetes.

Totally screwed up yesterday and it does show this morning. Breaded Cauliflower and breaded chicken for lunch and Butternut Squash soup for dinner plus 5 bottles of beer.
