Crazy screwed up day with eating yesterday. Way too much protein for breakfast, potato chips for lunch, pot roast and multiple root vegetables for dinner and all finished off with a few beers and a super sweet treat. Oh yea, and no meds. On the good side, I spent some really good quality time with family.
I suppose that I could use that old excuse that life just gets in the way, but the bottom line is that its all about not staying dedicated to the cause. It is so easy to forget about what is really important and putting that priority first. I want to win the war on Type II Diabetes and I know that I will, but making mistakes like eating a killer sweet desert and forgetting to take medication just doesn’t cut it. I don’t want to wake up to see my morning glucose reading at 126. When this happens I know that the sugar in my blood stream is causing all kinds of havoc in my body.
Oh well. Lets get past it and move on. My right ear is still having problems, but it seems that my energy is restored. I should take a day off from my routine but I will not. My body is screaming for a good workout.
