“My body is like a symphony” Billy Brennan
I am skipping my cardio workout once again and going for the bowflex. I know I should be burning calories this morning, but all I want to do is rip muscle. I finally found a good pair of running shoes and have been waiting to break them in, but not today. No, today is a day for back strengthening.
I am noticing that as I go through these routines of muscle groups each group enhances another. I am slowly moving up weight for all of these exercises that I perform. I am using muscle groups in a different way while working on other muscle groups. It is like a symphony where each instrument works closely with other instruments to play a fine concerto. I am the conductor of this symphony and will fine tune each group until I put together the perfect piece of music I call my body. When it is complete I will play it for all the world to see.
I have been snacking on low GI protein bars to feed my muscles. This curbs my appetite, but has been increasing my weight with muscle growth. I really do need to get the cardio back into my routine to burn some more fat. It doesn’t appear that fat has increased any, but there is still so much to rid my body of. Lean and mean, the perfect combination of weight bearing exercises for my bones and muscles and good hard cardio for the heart. Rock it Billy!
