waterfallsmallAfter hard work it is good to take the time to relax. It heals both the body and the soul” Billy Brennan

Results this morning are good with a 105 morning glucose reading and weight down to 170.0. I am feeling completely drained and I think it has to do with the weight bearing exercise yesterday. It actually feels pretty good for a change as I am completely relaxed. I pushed my way through 4.5 miles this morning because I knew that sometimes the best time to exercise is when you don’t feel like it. I am getting so damn close to getting under 170 lbs. that I am encouraged to move forward again tomorrow morning to burn down the fat.

So I feel as though I have earned my right to relax and take it easy. I worked my chest and legs hard yesterday and I got in the fat burning cardio this morning. I also made it through the first two days at work in a position that demands my complete attention on a constant basis. Today I will be in a position that allows me time to relax, and that is exactly what I intend on doing. Relaxation time also allows the mind the time to drift and think creatively. I am not a professional writer, but if I were I think that earning relaxation time might be the key to opening certain channels in the mind that allow us to think freely. I also believe that trying to stay in this form brings about what writers call, “writer’s block”. This, like the on and off, and the 0 and 1, has to be a cycle as all things are cycles in this universe. From the movement of an atom to the way the earth itself travels around our great source of energy, it is all cycles. There are up’s and there are down’s, North’s and South’s, and there are good days and there are bad days. All we have to do is recognize them, saddle them up and ride them into the sunset.
