“It is Memorial Day. This day I thank those souls who have bravely fought on the front lines all around the world to allow me to live in freedom in this incredible country we call America. I thank those all around the world who have taken a stand against the evils of men to protect the innocent from the horrors of control.”
Billy Brennan
Yesterday I tried to increase my dose of metformin back to 1000mg twice a day. After the morning dose gave me diarrhea I decided to go back to 500mg twice a day. My morning glucose came in at a 107 this morning. My weight dropped almost two lbs. since yesterday and I am wondering if this has more to do with the diarrhea yesterday cleaning my lower GI tract out, or the fact that I have been killing it on the treadmill for almost a week now. And I am still running naked. Maybe I need to change the name of the blog to the “Naked Runner”, just kidding. LOL That would be pretty silly.
It is the beginning of strawberry season this year in Oregon and I picked up some freshly picked strawberries from the Saturday Morning Market here in Oregon City Saturday morning. I made a big batch of Old Fashioned Oatmeal and will enjoy it each morning this week with those delicious strawberries. Yum!
