My morning glucose reading came in pretty high this morning. So lets reflect on yesterday… Being on a weekend schedule I only ate 3 times versus 6 times which is my normal weekday schedule. I ate way too much for dinner and included potato salad. I had two burgers, but because they weren’t on bun I figured that it would be OK. I probably ate too much bad fat. I stayed physically busy all day with multiple projects like the rebuilding the front garden and assembling a patio set. I spent a lot of time outside yesterday and was loving it. Hmmm. My weight came in slightly higher than yesterday at 171.4, .2 lbs. higher. Meet takes a long time to process and I am sure that there are still 2 burgers in my belly. LOL. Not funny. Actually pretty gross.

We spent some money yesterday which is something that we normally don’t do. Between gardening supplies, a patio set and an air conditioner we parted with over $500.00. Because of our frugal lifestyle spending money like this was not easy, but our purchases were all items that we have had on our must get list for some time now, so all though there is a sense of guilt when I think about that money going towards paying off the mortgage, I also have a sense of accomplishment.
