04-28-14 – Monday – Vape Day #9

Nine days into the world of vaping and I feel incredible. Cigarettes were a thing of the past. I ordered a kit for Sharon and she started yesterday. I think the transition is a little more difficult for her than it was for me. I got her the EVOD in Pink! I hope it works out for her as I know she too has the deep desire to quite smoking.

My sugar once again came in high. I will see the doctor this morning to mention this. I really believe that this is due to not eating that healthy salad everyday. I got to get back on track with that starting today.

I cut back on my time on the treadmill this morning to just over 50 minutes which includes a 5 minute cool down. I got in 2 two minute sprints. I want to concentrate more on these sprints and less on the duration of time. It is during these sprints heart rate increases. I think that my body is becoming to accustomed to the fast paced walk and my heart rate is staying low. Increased heart rate equals increased fat burn. But I always have to remember to be careful. I am over 50 and I don’t want to become another statistic.
