Welcome to another wonderful day without cigarettes in my life. As I looked into the mirror this morning I noticed that the lines on the sides of my eyes are gone. I always attributed those lines to the fact that I am simply getting older. The truth is that smoking cigarettes causes damage like that. Even my fingernails look healthier.
Weight came in even with yesterday. Today’s treadmill workout was incredible. I didn’t break any records or anything, but I kicked into running at 6.0 for 1 minute 4 times during the workout. Wouldn’t it nice one day when I can run at this intensity for 30 minutes. I will get there!
Sugar was a bit high this morning and I can’t figure out what caused it. I ate very little yesterday with a healthy homemade Pea Soup for dinner. I have to head out to Trader Joe’s today and pick up salad for the week. I have been moving away from it and I know that it is important to get those greens into my body everyday.
