03-23-14 – Sunday

Yesterday I ate a half of an Italian sausage sandwich at lunch. This was the first time I put bread in my body in over a week. The last time being a slice of pizza in New Jersey. It really didn’t have much of an effect on me, but I am still guilting over it because it is in violation of my mission. The funny thing is that after we ordered the owner brought us an additional plate of sliced sausage and peppers. I could have had just that. Again, live and learn. I knocked out another 500 calories this morning. My body weight came in a half pound heavier than yesterday. I was drinking beer last night and I believe that my body was retaining water to compensate for the alcohol. As I come closer to starting weight bearing exercises I will start searching for foods that will supply protein for muscle repair. I want to eat at least 10 grams of protein every 3 hours.
